Short background.  I have traded futures and attended several expensive seminars.  Net result, I lost money.  Stopped trading for 5 years then got the bug again.  Decided on Forex and signed up with a Technical Analysis guru for $1700.  Well, I started following his system and within a month I was down about $500.  My trading account was going in the wrong direction.

Then I got an email from someone suggesting I read Bird Watching in Lion Country.  I do not remember but I think I got to read 1 chapter for free.  Anyway, that is all it took.  Somehow Dirk grabbed my attention.  He talked my language and I knew I needed to buy BWILC.

Ever buy a book you can not put down?  That was BWILC for me.  What a revelation.  He pretty much took issue with everything I thought I knew about trading.  But he did not just contradict everything I was doing, he explained the reasoning behind why what I was doing was wrong.  But you need an open mind.  Dirk will challenge you.  If it is your way or the highway, BWILC is not for you.

At this point, I had a decision to make.  Was I willing to admit I was going in the  wrong direction with my $1700 guru?  Did I want to kiss my $1700 goodbye?    My dilemma,  do I want to keep adding to my already $500 loss in live trading or do I want to backup and do it right?   The only problem was, in my gut, I knew Dirk was right. (By the way, if you have not subscribed to his Edu-Letters) you should.

I contacted Dirk and was informed that he was not taking anymore mentoring students at the time.  I was very disappointed.  I wait a week then contacted him again and asked to be put on a waiting list. Dirk contacted me and agreed to work with me.  I was elated.  He has since reopened his mentoring program.

At this point I have been in his program a couple months.  All I can say is that I am very happy with the program and feel very fortunate that someone took the time to recommend BWILC.  Even if you do not agree with Dirk, I think it will be the best money you can spend in your Forex education.  I can guarantee you that at least you will look at trading the Forex market differently.
