I signed up for BWILC and the mentoring program about a year ago. After a few years of faltering performance tryign various technical trading of stocks and options, Dirk's fundamental, "own your own brain" approach really resonated. And it has worked. As an engineer, I have always had a tendency to take a "numbers and graphs" approach to things, but I quickly learned to put all those skills to use in a different type of analysis - understanding the big picture! The 4x1 method has been immensely helpful to me in keeping perspective on things, acting as a guide. But what has been most refreshing is the abilityt o tune in to what is happening in the world, *relative* to everything else that is happening, and to make (hopefully) sound predictions and judgements based on that world view. Combined with LOW LEVERAGE and a longer term view, I am pleased to report that my account is UP. Sure there have been losses, and with each an important learning. But the more I trade, the better I get and the more my account grows. No gimmicks. No contrived technical indicators. No weird hours, watching the screen with eyes glazed over (unless you're really into that kind of thing). Dirk's program will make sure you are here to trade another day, and meet your goals, if you are willing to follow his advice.
